"Skate Board Mission" is the eighth episode of Angry Birds on The Run. It premiered on December 29, 2018.
Synopsis[]
Needing a quicker way to reach their destination, the Angry Birds find a skateboard and decide to test out their wicked skating skills.
Plot[]
The episode starts off with two black and white CCTV-style footages of Bomb and Chuck communicating by radio, and referring to themselves as "Alpha Squad". They confirm the location and coordinates of their target, Kumiperuna secondary school. It is later revealed that the two are rooted, and they ask Red to call them Alpha Squad. Red then asks Chuck to check the map they printed out to see how far they've gone. Chuck gets dragged into examining the map from a spy's perspective, so much so that Red shouts at him to make him listen. He immediately thinks that they'll take too long to get anywhere, so Bomb suggests using a nearby skateboard. They ride it in totem pole form, with Bomb on the top and Red on the bottom. They soon crash not long after, due to their lack of training in skateboarding. The trio head to the halfpipe field to practice. A montage plays out showing all of them riding individually on the skateboard, playing out several Tony Hawk-esque moves, sustaining several injuries. Even though they believe they are ready, several people clamor; as it turns out, Red, Chuck & Bomb had stolen their skating gear, so they chicken out and run away. We then see the girl whose phone the birds fell out of, looking worried when she learns of the news, and the game shutting down in the next 48 hours.
