Brain Freeze is the twelfth episode of Angry Birds on The Run. It premiered on January 26, 2019.
Synopsis[]
Red, Chuck and Bomb finally make it to their destination without a second to spare! Wait, diving their beaks into a delicious ice cream sundae and having an insane sugar rush isn't their destination? Well, if they're going to be stuck in our world, at least we have ice cream.
Plot[]
We see the timer from earlier make a return, overlapping a volcano erupting, animals near an African watering hole running away, some stunt jets forming smoke clouds in the US flag's colors, a tornado & a time-lapsed thunderstorm. Near the end of this sequence, Chuck shows up and says, "dramatic enough for ya?". Next, we see the trio sitting on a concrete railing, with Bomb saying they did it. Chuck begins to give an emotional speech (promising he wouldn't cry) thanking the other two for this adventure, but Red bursts his bubble; they are nowhere near the school, but near the beach, in front of an ice cream parlor. Bomb says he thought this is what they were going, but realizes it's the school. Having come here, Chuck and Bomb pester Red like little children for an ice cream. Irate, Red allows it-- just one and nothing fancy. But the result goes a bit far; Chuck remarks this was the simplest they could make, so they begin to eat. They eat far too much of it, and they go through a minute long sugar rush. Chuck comes round and states it's the worst brain freeze. Red wakes up and orders the others to follow him. As they are leaving, Bomb suggests an ice cream sandwich, but Chuck and Red say no.
